James established The Latest Drop with a mission to bring popular consumer goods to customers at a reasonable price.  Prior to The Latest Drop, James founded and scaled two major ventures: Cheetah Technologies, where he raised over $150 million in venture funding, and Elevate Brands, an aggregator that raised $300 million+ from top-tier investors including Black Rock, Upper90, and Soroban Capital Management. James’s deep operational background began at Restaurant Depot, where he rose through the Executive Development program to lead National Sales and Marketing. Today, he applies that same operational rigor and expertise to ensure every customer at The Latest Drop receives authentic products and a premium shopping experience.

Stephanie Amirana serves as the CEO of The Latest Drop.  Originally trained in pharmacy, Stephanie pivoted to corporate strategy, earning her MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and honing her skills as a management consultant. Today, she translates that high-level strategic experience into the retail world, overseeing day-to-day execution to ensure the company’s logistics, customer service, and delivery of amazing deals to customers.

As Head of Operations, Stephen Shapiro keeps The Latest Drop running smoothly. A veteran in e-commerce logistics, he previously scaled Southern California operations for Cheetah Technologies across three full-size fulfillment centers and managed global freight for 30+ brands as Head of Logistics at Elevate Brands. Today, Stephen directs all forward and reverse logistics and critical 3PL partnerships, ensuring our products reach your door with speed and precision.

Jack Flaherty is the Chief of Staff and the driving force behind the exceptional deals you find at The Latest Drop. Jack spent over three years in investment banking and research.  He now oversees inventory procurement and supply chain strategy, and by leveraging his past financial modeling and market analysis skills, Jack ensures that we source the best possible inventory at unbeatable prices, allowing us to pass those amazing deals directly to our customers.
